Apollo joined my family as a puppy around 3 months old and instantly brought joy and happiness to our hearts. He is 5 years old now and is such an amazing pup. My son is an only child and sees Apollo as his brother as they have grown up together over the years. He makes friends with anyone he meets and is loved by so many .

Apollo loves cuddling with his family and would sleep 20 hrs a day cuddled up if you let him. His favorite activities are taking his boy to school every morning. He runs right to the back of our suv and jumps up as soon as the trunk open. 3pm hits he’s at the door ready to go back to pick my son up. He loves the park and playing with kids and is such a gentle giant.

Apollo has always been able to read emotions and has helped me through some pretty tough times by giving hugs when he sees sadness and showing love and concern. Apollo provided so much love and emotional happiness to my son and me everyday with everything he does. He loves being right by our side always and gives the best cuddles and snuggles.

He was recently diagnosed with leptospirosis and is being treated 8hrs away from home in New Orleans on dialysis for the last 3 weeks. He was in recovery and we were looking forward to him coming home when he got an infection related to the dialysis tube and had a set back in his recovery thats requiring additional dialysis and medications to get him back on track to coming home.

The expenses have been tough on my family and with the increase in additional weeks of treatment due to the set back it has increased the expenses we were not prepared for.
