Apollo is a 8 year old rescue who came into our house in 2017 after searching for a friend for our 6 year old boxer. Apollo was a year and a half old when we rescued him and had the cleanest feet for a 18 month old dog (no dirt or grass stains) he was previously surrendered due to his size and stole my husbands heart at first sight. Him and our 13 year old boxer mix are best friends.

Apollo had gotten a spurt of energy, ran across the yard, made a turn and cried out in pain. He began not using his rear leg immediately. He was seen by a vet who informed us he is in need of a TPLO surgery which is estimated at $3500-$5000

Apollo is a sun god, who loves to be outside and is quite active. His best friend is a 13 year old boxer mix who has a spinal degeneration. He is completely food motivated and loves everyone he comes into contact with, he will lick you from head to toe, needs to be in the middle of hugs and is always by our side and sleeps in our bed

I unexpectedly lost my mom in March of this year which not only financially devastated us, also emotionally devastated us. Unfortunately without surgery Apollo will be a leash dog for the rest of his life as his knee pops and clicks with every step
