Apollo is a 9 year old Mix-Breed in New York, NY, who needs $2,000 for Hind Limb Amputation.

I adopted Apollo from a shelter in Brooklyn about 5 ears ago now and he has been one of the few constant joys in my life over the past few tough years. He's moved with me around the city, but we've landed in Harlem where my two roommates also adore him. His cuddles and mews have helped me through some pretty big loses over the last few years, and more recently my roommates as well.

He was recently diagnosed with intermediate level sarcoma and will need to get his back leg amputated to prevent further spread. His current vet is Small Door Vet on the UWS, which is likely where we will do the surgery unless I can find some more affordable options.

Apollo is the sweetest man around. He converted my roommate to a cat lover through his gentle head buts, silly shadow chasing, and just general being the sweetest guy around. He warms up to new people so quickly, even greeting people at the door. Probably the only thing he loves more than being pet and cuddled is a treat (but it's a very close second).

In the past 5 years I've lost both my dad, and the stability of an almost 10 year relationship. Getting back on my feet has been difficult & Apollo has been my constant. Saving him would be everything to me. Absolutely everything.
