Apollo is a 5 month old Mix-Breed in Racine, WI, who needs $2,000 for Surgery for Bullet Removal and X-rays.

Apollo is the son of our other dog. He was born about five months ago and has been a ball of light ever since.He lives in our house with his dad and our cat. He got his name from the space craft.

Apollo was shot in his hind leg when a stray bullet came through our house from a shooting that happened in our neighborhood. We took him to VCA Animal Hospital in Greenfield,WI where we were told he would need X-Rays and possibly surgery to remove the bullet.

Apollo is an energetic puppy, he was awake and sitting up the whole ride to the hospital. He loves to play with our cat and our other dog. He loves “outside” and sleeping in our bed.

What happened to Apollo was very sudden. We could have never expected something like this. We are a low income family seeking assistance from anyone who can help. Even though Apollo hasn’t been with us very long, he is still apart of our family and losing him would be tragic
