I adopted Apollo in 2020 after he bounced around t multiple foster and “forever” homes. He has been an amazing support to me over the years. I struggle with my health and several painful conditions and he is always right there to snuggle or pur next to me to tell me everything is going to be okay. He has been my lifeline in more way then one and I can’t imagine a life without him.

Apollo was diagnosed with six bladder stones that were creating a blockage that was extremely painful for him and made him unable to urinate. We went to our primary vet first and they placed a catheter under anesthesia then removed it once they were able to clear the obstruction. He did reconstruct almost immediately and we were advised to seek emergency care and told he needed surgery.

Apollo loves to go on walks with his owner when the weather is nice. He often times sits in his backpack taking in the views, but will occasionally venture out and explore his surroundings. He is a huge cuddle bug once he gets to know you. He enjoys ear and booty scratches the most. And if you have a treat he will be your best friend.

Over the past year I’ve had a lot of health issues which has caused overnight hospital stays, two surgeries, and multiple emergency room visits. These health issues have caused me to miss work and receive no or half pay which has hindered me from starting an emergency fund.
