Apollo is a 8 year old Golden Retriever in Springfield , MA, who needs $2,000 for Nephrectomy.

I got Apollo from a breeder in Massachusetts. He was the only puppy who yelped when I asked who wants to come home with me. He was the puppy that crept away from his siblings every night to sleep with his mamma. And he is still a mamma’s boy! So loving and cuddly. He just presses his face into my shoulder for morning kisses every day!

I noticed Apollo start panting very heavy and whining at night. He woke me loudly and rapidly panting. After emergency visits and ultra sound it was found his left kidney is enlarged and nonfunctional. It’s pressing on his insides causing him to pant and suffer discomfort. He needs it removed.

Apollo is a cuddly loving pup. He protects the older dogs in his circle of friends. Is so gentle with the babies in our family and is so cooky the way he hops when he’s excited. He lovingly pushes his head into mine for kisses and ear scratches.

It means everything to me to help my boy. I’ve tried all credit options, gofundme, talking to vets for payment plans. None have worked out. I can’t fathom having him in so much pain that I will have a horrible alternative. It’s just me and Apollo. I feel I’m failing him.
