April came in to my life during a difficult time of loss and discovery. She is a rescue at 6 months old in 2017 from ASPCA. Today at almost 5 years old she lives a life of joy as an indoor cat in Brooklyn.

April is the sweetest, kindest and most loving cat. Her big eyes bring comfort to all who meet her. she loves belly rubs, cuddles, and watching all the Brooklyn birds from her window.

April loves to show love to anyone who is able to get her trust. She might be shy at first, but once you show her love she will return it unconditionally. She can be chatty whenever asked about food, and always wants cuddles at the end of a long day.

In late June, April, a usually ferocious eater, stopped eating her favorite science diet hard foods. Sudden weight loss and energy loss convinced me to bring her to her local vet. What started as a diagnosis of gum disease turned to kidney failure over night when blood results came back. She was rushed to an animal hospital and admitted in critical care since June 28th

Due to her young age (approx 5 yrs) and indoor cat life we do not have pet insurance. The team is doing everything to get April stable, but the cost is more than we can afford. Help us save April
