About this campaign
This sweet little girl named April was rescued by Stray Dog Support just in time after facing euthanasia, when another rescue in Rayon, Mexico could no longer afford her care. Since coming into SDS's hands, she’s being cared for in the hospital and fighting hard.
An ultrasound revealed a cyst on her kidney affecting her health. While her urea and creatinine levels are improving, her phosphorus is still high. At least she is eating more, which will help support her recovery.
They are hoping to bring April home soon and continue her treatment, with a recheck in about 15 days—and they urgently need your help to make that possible.
Hospitalization comes at no low cost, and the bills are stacking up quickly.
April already escaped death once—now she deserves to live her second chance. Please help them keep her alive by making a donation of any amount. It goes a long way and is greatly appreciated.
6/24/26 Update
We are so grateful for all the love and support that you have shown April through your generous donations! Thanks to you, she is well on her way to healing. She has another follow up vet appointment but overall she is doing much better.
