April is a 9 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in State Center, IA, who needs $400 for Ear Drops and Possibly Heartworm or Respiratory Treatment.

April was a rescue. I've had her since she was 2. She's now 9. We live with my daughter and her family and their 2 dogs and 2 cats. We're in Iowa. She has good food and plenty of fresh water.

April has always had problems with her ears. Central Veterinary Services has been great at clearing it up. She is also raspy now. I have no clue what is causing that. 1st I worry about her but 2nd I don't know if she's contagious. I've applied for disability so I have absolutely no income until it comes through 🙏🙏🙏. I'm not ready to give my baby up.

April loves our home. She interacts well with the other dogs as well as the kids. She loves treats and will sit. She sleeps with me. Best bed partner ever. She will come to me when something is wrong and try to figure out why I'm upset. She's amazing.

Like I said earlier, I have had to apply for disability. My back is messed up as well as other problems. Too many years being a caregiver. I have no idea when it's going to come through. I literally have no income whatsoever. Having her around for a bit longer is my goal.
