Arby is a 8 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Maiden, NC, who needs $1,200 for Fatty Tumor Removal.

We have had Arby for almost 7 years now. We rescued him from a family that no longer wanted him and they were going to take him to a shelter. He quickly became the missing piece to our family. He has 3 human sisters who he loves very much and always looks out for. We call him Bubby as a nickname. He helps me tuck his sisters in the bed every night, giving them all kisses before he leaves.

About a year and a half ago we noticed a small lump on Arby's abdomen. I took him into the vet and she did a biopsy. It came back as just a fatty tumor. It stayed the same size for a while but all of a sudden it started growing and she had advised me to have it removed if it started to grow. It is now about 12cm × 3cm. The name of the vet is Little Mountain Veterinary Clinic.

Arby is special to every one in our family. His 3 human sisters love on him all the time and he is a very big part of our family. It truly would not be the same if we did not have him. He sleeps beside me every night. He has an obsession with blankets (just like I do 😁) and he will go get his blanket when he is ready for bed. He truly is a one of a kind boy.

I am a 100% disabled veteran and after bills each month I do not have a lot of money left. I have been planning to have his surgery done but it is difficult to come up with the $1200-$1500 that he needs for the surgery. I want to give him the best life possible.
