Our beloved dog 6 year old Goldendoodle Archie Bunker has spent his life supporting others. Trained as an EMS PTSD support family member, he has provided comfort, stability, and unconditional love during some of the hardest moments imaginable. Now, he needs our help.
Just a week ago, Archie became critically ill very suddenly. Emergency surgery on Monday, May 18, revealed a 9 .7 mass.

The mass was attached to his spleen. At the same time, he was diagnosed with Evans Syndrome, a serious and life-threatening condition. We emptied our savings to make sure he could have the surgery he needed, and thankfully, he is currently recovering well.
But this is only the beginning of a long and uncertain road.
Archie will continue to need transfusions, medications, intensive veterinary care.

His risk of relapse is extremely high. We are also waiting for biopsy results to determine whether the mass is lymphoma. If confirmed, he will require chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
Archie has given so much of himself to help others through trauma, fear, and difficult times. He deserves every chance we can give him now.
