Archie — 2d373a

Archie is a 10 month old goldendoodle who we found through a breeder in Dallas in February. He is our first and only puppy and he has been the light of our lives since he came into our lives. He also goes by "Archo" and "Archie pants". He lives with me and my husband Rollin, and we are both frontline healthcare workers. Archie has been the best companion and our lifeline during this crazy year!

Archie loves to play fetch, collect sticks on walks, and chase squirrels. He also loves to be sneaky and steal Dad's socks! He is playful and lovable and such a joy to have in our family. He brings a smile to everyone he comes across during our walks. He loves to go to dog parks and makes friends so easily.

My husband Rollin and I are both healthcare workers in the Texas Medical Center. We both have major student loan payments every month and it has been difficult to manage Archie's cancer workup with our other financial obligations. Any help would be appreciated!

Archie is the sweetest 10 month old goldendoodle who was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma this month by Dr. Katie Stroda at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists. We are proceeding with surgery to debulk the tumor and will attempt radiation and chemotherapy afterwards. Any help towards his care would be greatly appreciated as we are trying to do everything we can for our puppy.

Even though it's been a rough two months for him since the onset of his symptoms to his diagnosis, he still has the best spirit and continues to play, cuddle and fetch to the best of his ability! He loves to collect sticks on our walks, give kisses to other pups, and receive high quality scratches from anyone and everyone. He does not understand the concept of stranger danger or personal space!
