About this campaign
Adopt A Cat Foundation is urgently asking for help on behalf of Archie, a sweet 4-year-old male cat who was rushed to the Pet Emergency & Referral Center after he suddenly became unable to urinate — a potentially life-threatening condition that could be caused by a urinary blockage.
Archie is currently undergoing x-rays and bloodwork as the veterinary team works to determine the cause and severity of his condition. Urinary blockages are extremely painful and can quickly become fatal without immediate intervention. Right now, Archie is in critical need of care — and the costs are adding up fast.
As a small nonprofit rescue, Adopt A Cat Foundation is doing everything possible to get Archie the emergency treatment he needs. But they can’t do it without support from compassionate animal lovers like you.
Please consider donating to help Archie receive the care he needs! Donations of any amount are deeply appreciated.
Update 5/13/25:
Archie’s X-rays showed no blockage and no crystals were found in his urine. The vet diagnosed him with a urinary tract infection (UTI) — painful, but thankfully treatable. Archie was sent home with medications and is now on the road to recovery.
While we’re incredibly relieved, the emergency vet visit came with a heavy price tag. Please consider donating to help cover Archie’s ER visit, diagnostic tests, and medications.
