I always dreamed of having a dog growing up, but my parents never allowed it. Years later, after I had my son, I realized how much I wanted him to experience the love and companionship I missed. Since he is an only child, we adopted Ari so he could have a little “sister” to grow up with. She’s been a part of our family ever since, filling our home with love, laughter, and comfort.

Ari was recently found to have fluid buildup and a mass in her abdomen. Our vet suspects hemangiosarcoma, but we won’t know for sure until surgery is done to remove part of the mass for biopsy. We’ve already spent over $4,300 as it happened during memorial day weekend, everything being regarded as emergency care, and can’t afford the next steps. We’re desperate for help.

Ari is the sweetest soul — so gentle, patient, and kind. She’s never had much in life, yet she gives so much love. She never demands anything, and always waits quietly, grateful for every little moment with us. At just seven years old, she deserves so much more time, more joy, and more comfort than she’s had.
