About this campaign
Aries first showed up in my life in Athens, GA, the week after I told my friend I wanted a second cat. I didn’t realize how quickly he would become my emotional support animal. We’re now living in Oregon and the economy is… awful. I recently switched jobs to try to fix this but then I received a 15th diagnosis. He helped me stay alive when I tried to unalive myself. I love him
As far as people it’s only me but he lives with two other cats and he is what I like to call cat autistic because he doesn’t understand cat social norms and will love others aggressively (as in: lick you to death. And yes, I am talking about a cat lol) He will lay on your face when you’re sleeping and purr loud enough to hear in the other room.
Definitely laying on my face, accidentally jumping on food and bouncing everywhere, purring so loudly you can hear it from the other room, licking out of love aggressively, always checking in, searching for attention. If he could, he would be on my lap 24/7.
Aries has a history of urinary issues. He is on supplements and I have three water fountains going to help but I can’t afford the prescription food and now the worse is happening and it looks like he has a blockage. Because of the frequency of the UTIs and this blockage, they want to do a surgery. Echo Hollow in Eugene, OR with “next doctor available” as my only current info
I’m disabled and trying to work full time but even then the housing crisis and being alone means I don’t have anything extra. My extra has gone to the UTI+ supplement food. I just don’t have enough for the expense of the surgery
