Aries is amazing! He picked me. I went to the rescue event to look at another dog and he fell asleep in my lap. That was that. He has been by my side through the ups and downs. He's my goofball, thinks he's a lapdog pup. He helped me foster over 40 animals (he absolutely adored taking care of kittens & puppies!).

It's been me, Aries, and Zuri the last eight years. Sadly last month Zuri lost her battle with cancer, so now it's just me and Aries. He is a momma's boy 100%, a goofball, and a sensitive soul. He has been my emotional support animal through my mental health struggles and always knows just what I need. He has been by my side through all the ups and downs.

I am a full-time health care graduate student at USC working at an unpaid residency. My academic requirements make it difficult to hold down an outside job, so I live off of student loans. Recently I spent a large amount of money on my other dog's (Zuri) cancer battle.

On Monday August 17th Aries ruptured his left ACL running to say hi to a friend. He has been evaluated by two vets who both agree he needs surgery and recommend physical therapy post-surgery. His ACL repair surgery will be done by Dr. Grant at Community Veterinary Hospital. I am looking at physical therapy at CARE if I can afford it.

Aries is amazing! He always has been. Ball & water are life! He loves to chase his ball & jump in any body of water he sees. He always seems to know exactly what you need...a big sloppy kiss across the face, some (very large) lapdog cuddles, a goofy summersault, or him bringing his leash or ball so you get some fresh air. He's got puppy eyes & he knows how to use them to get what he wants.
