Arjun’s suffering didn’t happen overnight. Somehow, a wire became tightly embedded around his leg — cutting deep into his skin, causing constant pain, and slowly leading to a severe infection. By the time help reached him, the damage had already been done. Our team acted quickly to remove the wire, sparing Arjun from further injury. But the relief was only the beginning of a much longer fight.

💔 Arjun Is Still in Pain His wound is badly infected. Because of the intense pain, Arjun is struggling to cooperate with treatment — not because he doesn’t want help, but because he is hurting so deeply that he doesn’t understand we’re trying to save him. This makes his recovery even more challenging.

6/3/26 Update

Arjun's journey has taken another difficult turn. As if the severe injury to his leg wasn't enough, he has now developed a significant skin condition that requires treatment and stabilization before he can safely undergo his much-needed amputation surgery.

Our veterinary team is working hard to get his skin issues under control while continuing to manage his pain and monitor his injured leg. Unfortunately, this means his amputation must be postponed until he is healthy enough for surgery.

Despite everything he has endured, Arjun continues to fight. Every day he receives medical care, medication, and the support he needs to keep moving forward.
