My husband went to the humane society and was looking for me another small dog because we lost my other little guy to diabetes. So, my husband saw Arlo and he said his little sad puppy eyes is what drew him to Arlo. My Lil guy has me wrapped around his paw. He is so happy, loving and playful .

March 7, 2026 we were taking Arlo and his big brother Zues to the park that afternoon and Arlo decided he wanted to jump out the window. I had a hold of his leash and the back tire of our truck caught his right leg and I just knew it was crushed. I took him to the vet the next morning and they told me that it was a clean break and would probably need a pin to hold the 2 bones together.

Arlo is very loving and is always by my side from the time I get home from work, he sleeps with me every night, he is one of my kids. When I sit down he will get in my lap and gives me hugs, he hugs me like a human would. If he could go to work with me he would that's how much he loves his mommy. He loves to play with our grandchildren and loves to go for rides.

I'm the only one working at the moment because my husband's meniscus rupture and fractured his knee, he has been off of work for 3 months. The vet called their partner that does the type of surgery he needs and it will cost $3,000.00 to place the pin in his leg.
