We rescued Arlo three months ago under heartbreaking circumstances. He was being sold outside a Walmart by his previous owner, and since he was one of the last puppies left, they were planning to throw him in the dumpster. Thankfully, friends of ours stepped in and saved him just in time, and we were lucky enough to bring him into our home.

Arlo, our sweet 4-month-old pug, recently fractured his elbow after jumping off the couch. We took him to VCA Animal Hospital, where the vet confirmed that he needs surgery to heal properly. Without it, he may have permanent issues with his leg. As a college student, I can't afford the cost, and I’m asking for help to give Arlo the care he desperately needs to walk and play again.

Arlo is the sweetest, most playful puppy. He’s full of energy, loves snuggling, and follows me everywhere I go. Even at the vet, despite the pain from his injury, he was still licking the doctor, showing his loving nature. He’s brought so much joy and light into my life, and I want to give him the chance to heal and keep spreading that happiness. He truly deserves a pain-free life.

As a first-generation college student working two jobs, I wasn’t prepared for Arlo’s sudden injury and the cost of his surgery. It’s been overwhelming. Having him healthy again would mean the world to me. Any support would give him a chance at a happy life.
