Arlo is a 1-year-old Yorkie in Shelby Township, MI, who needs $500 for Wellness Exam and Treatment of Dehydration & Ear Issue.

So I was given Arlo to foster. He is a 7 pound male Yorkie who has been rescued. When I got him he was in appalling condition. I took him to the groomer and they shaved off 3 pounds of matted tangled hair.
Right now my goal is to just have him be comfortable with the apartment and me. Hopefully in time he will warm up to me too. But he does have some health concerns that I need help affording.

I don’t have any kids or animals. I am just someone who didn’t want this little guy wandering the streets. Arlo is very scared of everything and everyone. I don’t have history on him so I do not know what happened to him, but there have been moments when he shows me his personality and I can tell he is a sweet boy. For now, I just want him to be safe and healthy before he can find a home.

Arlo is a rescue and my foster dog. As more time goes by I think he is starting to understand that he is safe and that I won’t hurt him. He is showing me that he is a very sweet and gentle boy. However, he is still a puppy so he is high energy and loves to play. A wonderful thing about Arlo is that he is attest walker. Always stays right by you and follows your lead. He loves to do zoomies too!

So Arlo is a rescue from vetco. That is what I was told. I was also informed that he had all his shots just not fixed. When I got Arlo his fur was so matted I couldn’t even brush it and it broke my scissors and clippers- so at that point I took him to the groomers. Now he is obsessively itching his ears to the point of bleeding. He also isn’t eating, has diarrhea & vomiting. I am broke.

Literally I am in debt barely keeping my head above water. I called our animal hospital and they will take him on but it’s going to be around $300.00 for the office visit, fecal exam, ear exam, fluids to rehydrate, anxiety medication, bravecto, heartguard & any ear med
