About this campaign
I met my best friend in my Doctorste program, her family dog had puppies and I had every intention of getting a morale dog for my college athletic training program. I picked Arlo up and it was love at first sniff. He was a wiggly cuddly ball of original recipe( vs extra crispy) golden doodle. Arlo was a gift from my father for Christmas and I later lost my father that same year.
Arlo is one of two love bugs inn our home. He has a sister, a heterochromic husky with a sassy personality a mile wide. He is dedicated to snuggling with his mom and playing frisbee with his dad. He goes to school with his mom twice a week to bring joy to the life of her athletes and help them through their rehab.
Arlo is the sweetest boy in the world. He wants to hug everyone he meets. He’s not the biggest fan of hats on other
People but looks super fly when he’s wearing one himself. When an athlete is experiencing a particularly tough day of injury rehab he almost acts like he can feel it and will rest his little head in their lap and tell them he loves them
Arlo has been diagnosed with mega esophagus. This is a very serious condition in which the food and water does not easily go into his stomach putting him at risk of aspiration pneumonia. It has slowed him down so much and he’s even afraid of eating because he easily regurgitates when he’s finished with a meal. He is a patient of Banfield Pet Hospital
I lost my father in March of 2021. While he left me with a covered funeral there were so many fees left to pay, we have no emergency fund. We have been trying to build one but things keep happening in life that require our expenses. Credit cards are not available to us.
