I am a pre-med student studying biology! I adopted Artemis as an emotional support animal to take with me to college and she has done an amazing job. She is sweet, cuddly, and very much a diva. She is a very curious girl, and extremely stubborn about what she wants. I love her to death, but as a college student, I don't have the money to support high cost vet bills.

Artemis currently has gingivitis, which has been very slowly progressing into stomatitis. Despite giving her dental treats and brushing her teeth each night, she still has gum inflammation. The vet said it could progress into tooth resorption very easily if I am not careful. I want to take preventative measures to get her teeth checked and keep her healthy, pain free, and long-lived

Artemis is extremely curious and HATES closed doors. Obviously, she knows she owns the house, so she wants to be able to see everything. She has managed to open closets, cabinets, and drawers all by herself, simply through sheer force of will. She has a reputation of being a toe biter; she loves to bite, chase, and wrestle people's feet. She also loves to cuddle in my arms at night.

My father has been in and out of the emergency room the past month and his surgery is the day I write this (6/30/26). The hospital and emergency room visits have put a heavy financial strain on the family, especially since my mom is currently only able to work part time
