Arthur is a 7 year old Dachshund in Boise, ID, who needs $1,100 for Anal Gland Lance & Debride with Antibiotics.

Arthur was adopted just over 6 years ago from our local humane society. He came in with 45 of his siblings from a hoarder house & if not for Arthur escaping when he was found first his sibling might never have been rescued. I’ve had dogs all my life & he’s the first who I’m his person & he’s my little shadow. He rescued me just as much as me him & I can’t imagine a day without him.

He needs an anal gland expression procedure that my husband & I have no way of affording. He’s always had issues with normal expression if his anal glands & we have his groomer do it regularly but this time it’s infected & seeing him in pain & discomfort is absolutely heartbreaking. If I could take his pain & discomfort for him & feel it myself instead I would no hesitation. Please help if you can

Arthur has always been attached to me & made me his person since the day we brought him home. All he wants is love & cuddles & he’s the only dog I’ve ever known that rolls over to have me hold him like a baby while he uses his paws to hold my hands along his face and scratch his neck & he’s so polite he only gives nose kisses. He’s truly my fur child & his love has rescued me!

Currently my husband is going through very serious medical problems of his own so we’re down to just 1 income & my husband wants to pay the little bit we have to treat Arthur before himself.
