Arthur is a 3 year old Mix-Breed in Springfield , IL, who needs $2,000 for Abdominal Surgery.

A friend of mine had a litter of puppies that he couldn’t get rid of, and he called to ask if I wanted a puppy. I was hesitant at first, but I went over to his house and this sweet, energetic, bull-headed big ole puppy came charging directly at me as I got out of the car.
I knew immediately, he was the one I’d be taking home. He got his name nearly instantly, “King Arthur”.

He ate something while I was at work, in the evening he began wrenching and gagging, and threw up half digested food and grass about 5 times. I was worried his stomach flipped, after getting some x rays at the emergency clinic, they showed an object in his belly.
I’m now at a point of waiting for him to pass it, or it will require surgery. I can’t afford it, and my only other option is euthanasia

He has never displayed an ounce of aggression, he thinks everyone is his best friend. Arthur has kept me in good spirits through some of the most difficult times I’ve experienced, and this sweet, lovable, annoying curious dog doesn’t deserve to die because of some object he ate while I wasn’t home.

This comes right as I got a flea treatment done on the house, and paid rent. I’m a seasonal asphalt worker, and work is slowing down for the year. I haven’t been getting as many hours and they’re only going to grow shorter.
