About this campaign
Arya came into my life in a time when I felt like I was loosing everything. I saw her a few weeks after she was born and she curled right up to me. She seemed so independent from the litter and I thought of the perfect name. Arya Bark, in homage to Arya Stark of Game of Thrones, even though she sometimes has her days where she seems more like a Sansa.
Arya keeps me on a schedule. She makes sure I get my exercise also. Daily walks and lots of time off leash to run free and chase anything and everything. Arya of course can’t pass up a good ball or even better stick! She may be small, but as Forest Gump would say, “She can run like the wind blows!”
Devoting all our cash to moving us to a new better living space, and her emergency room visit has me financially drained. I’m creating this because I don’t want her to be in pain for a long time while I take my time to save. Unfortunately I don’t qualify for any assistance
Arya is in need of orthopedic surgery to repair a fractured femur. I’m currently in process to have it done with Mission Animal Hospital. They were recommended by both the emergency vet in Duluth and my vet peace of mind veterinary here in Burnsville . I’ll update as needed with vet info as she begins preparing for the procedure.
Have you ever had a dog throw something at you? Arya does, it’s how she lets me know I’m not paying attention! Arya may take time to get warmed up to some people or other dogs, but she’s always super sweet, except on her leash, then she thinks she’s the boss! She spends a lot of time either under the bed in her fortress of solitude or in the window surveying those beneath her.
