About this campaign

I am a veterinary technician and met Ash when he was just 8 weeks old. He was rescued from a farm because of his amazing personality. He at the time was suffering from a multitude of issues. I was one of the technicians to help make him better. He was brought back to the clinic at 6 months of age because he needed a home. I decided that that home was going to be mine! Best decision ever!

Ash was outside with me and my dog when he was attacked by another dog. Ash is asthmatic so due to the attack, he suffered an inability to breathe properly as well as a broken scapula. I rushed him to VCA veterinary Care where he spent the night on oxygen and received pain medication. He may need surgery for his broken shoulder. The surgical referral will tell us more but hopefully he doesn't.

Ash is an amazing cat who loves everyone. He is so adoringly friendly and engaging. The minute you meet him, he would situate himself in your lap if you let him and purr while making the best biscuits you've ever had. He loves his dog's sister, Chloe and tolerates his cat's sister Astrid. But he head over heels adores and loves me. And I am so blessed to have him as my boy.

I recently lost my job and have been having a difficult time securing another one. I've spent my life helping animals and it is so hard not being able to help my own. Ash is everything to me just like my other two animals. They are the reason why I get out of bed every day.
