About this campaign

Ash, my Silver Labrador born 9/11/2019, has been my heart since I brought him home as a puppy. He had TPLO surgery for a torn ACL in April 2024 and yesterday tore his other ACL playing ball. He needs another surgery with Dr. Gillis at Animal Medical Center in Boise. Cost is $3,500–$4,000. Any support or shares mean so much for my sweet boy’s healing.

Ash, my Silver Lab, needs TPLO surgery after tearing his second ACL. Surgery, medications, X-rays, 6–8 weeks of healing, and follow-up visits will cost at least $3,500. Today’s vet visit alone for sedation and baseline X-rays was $538. Any help or shares to support his recovery mean everything to us.

Ash is my 100-lb “pocket puppy” with the gentlest soul. He’s endlessly lovable, always seeking attention, and happiest when he’s close to his people. Ash greets everyone with kindness, a wagging tail, and big hopeful eyes. He brings comfort, laughter, and unconditional love every day and truly makes every moment brighter just by being him.

Winter is already a hard financial season for our family, and this injury was unexpected. Due to federal regulations, I had to take a new job away from home with lower pay and higher expenses. This sudden surgery cost has created a real hardship. Any support means so much.
