About this campaign

Ash came to me as a stray. He was skin and bones and looks very unhealthy. I immediately noticed when I tried to feed him everything he ate or drank was vomited right back up. I took him in immediately to my local veterinary and he was diagnosed with a Mega esophagus restriction. At this point I have to feed him many times a day with him standing on his hind legs and keeping his head extended.

In the short time that I have had ash he has become a huge part of my daily activities. My emotional service dog tiger who is roughly 9 years old dearly loves him. In between tiger and Ash they are helping me keep my depression and my PTSD in check. It is only me and my babies. Ash deserves a chance to have a life. Whoever his previous owners were were very negligent

I am on Social Security disability and try to work two days a week at my local vets. I have severe depression, PTSD, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, heart disease. At this point tiger and Ash are keeping me going.

When I showed up at my house as a stray he was skin and bones. He would vomit anything he would eat or drink. My local vet referred me to Dr. Robert Gruda in Santa Fe New Mexico to repair the esophagus restriction and to try to give Ash The life he deserves. I have to feed him numerous times a day and I’m willing to do that for the rest of his life. If that’s the case.

Ash is my up-and-coming service dog. He will be taking over tigers position. Ash puts a smile on my face every day by just his crazy antics. He will roll over on his back and start barking so somebody will play with him. Even though he is a puppy he is very intelligent and keeps myself and tiger on her toes. He has definitely brought a new dynamic to our family
