Ashe is an 11 month old cat in Pacific Palisades, CA, who needs $2,000 for emergency life-saving surgery to remove foreign bodies.

When Audrey's previous cat Ollie escaped her home and was killed during a hit and run, Audrey's young family was devastated. Up through the ashes of desolation rose Ashe, adopted from Kitten Rescue Los Angeles. "Ashe has been my little angel ever since and is the best little sister to Snowball", says Audrey. "She helped me through the mourning process when Ollie passed away. Our home is once again filled with love and happiness".

Ashe is the sweetest, most energetic, happy little kitten. She sleeps on Audrey's chest every night and cuddles with Snowball throughout the day. "She is my comfort and has helped me tremendously through the ups and downs of life, loss and Covid", Audrey confesses. "Ashe makes us laugh every day- whether she steals lettuce out of my salad bowl or pounces on her big brother Snowball, she is such a special little girl with a massive personality. She purrs like a machine, and wants to give affection to anyone that is in need."

Unfortunately, Ashe has an interest in her human siblings' non-edible toys. Although the family is extremely diligent about picking up after themselves to ensure Ashe's safety, Ashe swallowed a toy. Ashe was immediately rushed to the veterinary hospital for treatment, but the toy was already lodged in her stomach. The veterinary hospital gave Audrey's family the heartbreaking news; Ashe needed emergency surgery to save her life. "Hopefully they will be able to remove the foreign object and Ashe will then be able to heal and have a wonderful, long life. This little baby deserves it."
