Astro is a 1-year-old Domestic Shorthair Cat in Colorado Springs, CO, who needs $1,500 for Perineal Urethrostomy.

We got Astro from the humane society at 10 weeks old, along with his best friend Bynx. We also have our dog Charlie who is also now a year old, who he and the cats adore each other. He’s become a very loved pet in our house and gets along with everyone he meets. He is an indoor cat and doesn’t go outside without getting extremely terrified of cars and things haha.

Hes a very playful cat and loves to go all through the night, his favorite thing to play with is a laser. He loves to show affection by rubbing his face against ours and sleeping right on our pillows or under our feet, he is the biggest cuddle bug i’ve ever had met. He loves to greet us at the door as soon as we walk in after coming home from a long day.

He is an amazing cat who gets along with everyone, he loves being by his brothers side all the time and doesn’t want to be without him, Bynx loves to care for him and bathe him and cuddle up next to him all the time. When he’s not sleeping he’s running around bouncing off walls looking for anything to play with.

Last night I noticed he was not acting normal, he was sleeping more than usual and didn’t want affection. We took him to the pet hospital to find out he had a Urinary Tract blockage, they told us we’d have to put him down if we couldn’t unblock him, thankfully the very was able to except what little money we had for a down payment.

This was an emergency vet trip and we didn’t have the money for much, his full bill to get the rest of his surgery will cost 2k. It would mean the world if you could donate anything, anything would be of great help to get my best friend the help he needs.
