Astro is a 8-year-old Malamute in Las Vegas, NV, who needs $1,000 for GDV Surgery and Possibly Needs Spleen Removed.

We just moved into a house with a big yard so that my dogs can have a lot of exercise and we are struggling now because we had to pay all these deposits for utilities and it cost a lot to get into our new place and then the GDV happened this morning and we are all struggling out here to pay bills because of this

Astro is a fun-loving dog he's very funny he has a lot of personality he's my best friend he's good with everybody in the house he's good with other dogs he loves cats he loves hot dogs and he loves cheese. We rescued him when he was a year old she was just throwing in the backyard cuz he was no longer a puppy.

Astro has become my service dog I have severe depression and anxiety and I also have sleep apnea and he's always there for me when I need him when I'm depressed he knows how to cheer me up by it being silly and if I have anxiety he knows to cuddle and wrote and knows how to call me or giving me those wet kisses and when I have sleep apnea he usually barks and scares the crap out of me and wakes me

Well up until this morning he's been a very good and healthy dog and then this morning he ate food and normally isn't that spunky after he eats and he did kind of a little freak out thing and then all the sudden he was crying in pain and he was breathing funny and then he got lethargic and then we rushed him to the vet to find out that his stomach flipped so I took him to a family friend's vet

Me and my daughter are struggling we just moved into this big house that we got for the animals to have a nice big place to run and we had to pay $6,500 just to move in here so we borrowed money just to get in here and then we have all the utility deposits.
