Hi everyone, I don’t usually ask for help like this, but right now I really need it. My dog, Athena, has been part of my family for the past 6 years. We rescued her from a backyard breeding situation, and since then she’s been so much more than just a pet—she’s been my emotional support for my daughter and truly one of the most important parts of our life.

She was recently diagnosed with pyometra, which is a serious and life-threatening infection that requires emergency surgery. Without treatment, she won’t make it. The cost of the surgery and care is more than I can afford on my own right now, so I’m asking for any help—whether that’s donating or even just sharing this post. Anything at all would mean so much to us and to her. Thank you

Athena even though she’s a pit bull she is the sweetest and most loving dog. While she’s my daughter”s emotional support dog she supports us all. We’ve had numerous deaths in the family and she’s always there when any of us are sad. Losing her would crush us. She is truly one of the best living beings I know.

I’m currently disabled and the surgery is extremely expensive. I will give all the money I have but it’s not enough so any little bit helps. She needs the surgery as soon as possible.
