Athena is a 15 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Casa Grande, , who needs $1,195 for Ear Hematoma Repair.

Athen came in to our life by chance. Her and another dog wandered up to our house and Athena had a broken leg. We had her leg taken care of then wanted to try to find the owners. We did find them and the owners decided to take the other dog home and let us keep Athena. A real blessing! That was nearly 12 years ago and we have enjoyed every moment with her since.

Athena was recently seen and treated for an ear infection. The flapping due to the infection caused a large hematoma on her ear which I have provided images for. We would love any help in getting her ear drained and drainage tubes placed so she can heal. The cost for the procedure with the best possible outcome is $1,195 and the second option is $511.

Athena is a tough girl. When she came to us she was in a bad state. Her back leg dangling at her flank. But she was so full of life and love even then that we couldn’t let her suffer. Unfortunately at the moment I need help and so does she. She has been the best most loyal companion I have ever had thus far and hate seeing her so uncomfortable. Please any help is appreciated.
