Hi my name is Tara and Athena is a black female sphynx. She just turned 10 yrs old. I'm am campaigning for emergency help she has pyometra. And she will die if surgery is not performed. She is such a sweet cat, i love her so much. I already lost my 11 yr old male in 2022 of HCM it was sudden he died at the vets before they could treat him. I've lost so much . I've been Displaced since 04/2022 🙏

Athena is one of my 3 sphynx's she is very affectionate she loves to cuddle and loves her cookies. She loves all people and will climb onto you like a monkey. She is more then just a pet to me . All my babies are like my children. I'm a empty nester and my 3 babies fill a void for me. So loosing her would be like loosing one of my children. I can't loose her just because I have no money.

If anyone has been lucky enough to have a sphynx then they would know how wonderful this breed is. She fulfills emotional needs for me. I can't imagine life without her or having her die because I was displaced and then in a accident that requires me to have neck fusion, back and knee surgeries. I also have lupus. I have not been able to work due to homelessness and being ill and injured.
