I rescued Athena from a hot car she had been living in in the heat of August almost 3 years ago, she is a very special part of our family along with our 5 other fur babies. Athena is the most gentle, sweet, lovable girl and is so gentle with my 2 year old granddaughter. She loves to sit on our feet, including company and her favorite spot to sleep is at my foot of the bed. I love her so much

Athena was struck by a school bus that was speeding. I called our vet but he wouldn't see her so I took her to 2 other vets in Michigan both said weren't equipped to care for her and recommended that I take her to an emergency clinic in Ft Wayne Indiana, which is where she is right now. She needs immediate surgery and I can't afford the amount but I'll do anything to save her life. She saved me

Athena loves my family, friends and grandchildren. She gets along well with other dogs and loves attention. Especially sitting on people's feet or just giving you her paw. She loves treats, car rides, snuggles and sleeping in bed next to me. Athena is very much loved and cared for. I don't know what I would do without her
