Hello if your reading this. My name is Nina and I am in desperate need of assistance for my dog Athena. She is having a hard time walking/standing and a bulged stomach. This came on very sudden and I'm afraid I will have to take her to be euthanized as I cannot afford a vet visit. I have had her since she wad a pup and we have been all over together..she is my soul companion in a strange way.

I have not been to a hospital yet but I am calling everywhere for some help. I know it could be serious and she isn't a spring chicken but help with a wellness check would be a blessing and give me peace of mind.

I am currently not working and after being laid off I was paying for a weekly to keep her by my side. I went through severance, 401k and I just started to rent a room when she fell ill. I'm crushed and have no clue what to do.

I lost my job and then my roomate locked Athena out of the house so I had to leave. I spent 3 months at weekly until I found a place that would take us both. Now I am settled I have nothing but her and a roof.
