12 years ago a friend of mine was breeding pit bulls and his doge were amazing and loving and I loved dogs have been around dogs and birds and so many other animals my whole life! I was there when she was born the third puppy and i loved her from that moment! My children were raised with her and to have her in pain is killing us.

She’s so calm and sweet, she loves her treats and lounging around All day everyday, she used to love walking the property which she can no longer do due to her leg. She loves kisses and treats and laying next to you!

Athena will come sit by you so calmly and nudge your arm up just a bit to get petted, she does these cute simple kisses right under your chin. She loves to lay and get all the belly rubs and gets so excited when you talk to her seeet and say her name.

We have taken her to Skyland animal hospital in Asheville and also to a specialist in South Carolina called fetch she has a tumor growing on her leg they say could be cancerous it grew so quickly and now has opened up we have tried all their medication which they are saying is not working we are also trying steroids to shrink it some but she will need her leg amputated.

I just got a new job and moved her me to be close to my family from Florida, I have a small amount saved about 800 so far plus everything I have already paid to the vet my trying to save what I can as quickly as I can but i just got my promotion on November 13th
