Hi everyone, my name is Mechelle and my little tabby cat is Athena. She is 4-1/2 years old and facing two surgeries ~ one on each knee. She is a talkative little diva, sassy, full of life, has a love for family members and loves to play with her older brother Nox.

We found out that she has a torn ACL on her right leg and her medial luxating patella (kneecap) is also acting up. This will require a surgery (4.28.25) to fix this at a cost of $5,100 with a recovery time of 8-12 weeks. Sadly after that when she is fully healed, she will have to have a second surgery on her left leg for the medial luxating patella (kneecap) (Almost another $5,000).

She is a sassy little thing & was the smallest of the litter. She loves her human family, & her older adopted Tuxedo brother Nox. She loves catnip & any salmon flavored food. She loves her treats & when she hears the treat jar shaking, she takes off running to get to them. She doesn't like to be held or cuddled due to not being fostered properly, but she is Always within arms reach of me.

This was a sudden unplanned expense. She is too young (4.5 years old) to Not have this surgery. It will help her live a long & healthy life and be able to go back to running around the house, jumping up in the windows, & fully playing with her brother Nox.
