Hello my beautiful pug Athena was rescued from a puppy mill in the inland Empire area of California. I received her 5 years ago and from the beginning she has given me so much joy and unconditional Love 💞. The 1st month in our care Athena began to exhibit skin disorders and allergies. The beginning of her life required many visits to the vet.

Athena has been the light of my life for so many years now. Athena came into my life when I was recovering the loss of another Pug I had for 10 years who died tragically in a accidentally fall. I was so heart broken but Athena filled that loss I had with joy & playfulness. Soon thereafter I moved out of Los Angeles so Athena could enjoy life out of apartment living.

Athena has the joy and zest for life like I have ever seen. She will be my third pug over a 20 year period. Athena enjoys swimming and water play. Loves to jump into our water fountain and run around the parkway. She is very honery and quite stubborn. Athena enjoys cuddling and sleeping with me in bed. She enjoys other dogs for a short moment but loves people & children more than other dogs .

Athena lived in Los Angeles the beginning of her younger months than moved to Rancho Cucamonga Ca. It was at this time Athens began to have U.T.I which resulted in bladder stones which caused some damage. At this time she had surgery for bladder stones and put on a very strict diet by her Vet. This new year 2023 Athena skin issues have resurfaced and a lump was detected under throat .

I currently have a limited income due to being on Medical issues and I work part-time up to my Medicaid allotment. I desperately need help in her upcoming medical care which will most likely be surgery to remove her lump and any further bladder stones that may occur.
