Atiya is a 9-year-old German shepherd/Husky in Morrow, GA, who needs $1,550 for an ultrasound, mass debulking surgery.

I got my Atiya when I took my mother to pick up this momma dog and her last pup nobody had wanted.. I took one look at her and claimed her as mine.. At a tiny 8 weeks old this girl had stolen my heart. At 9 years old she is still my loudmouth baby girl that isn't afraid to be a 100lb lap dog. She lives with 2 other dogs, 3 cats, and a human sibling. She is the best dog I've ever owned.

Atiya gets along with anybody and everybody, she gets along with animals of types, children and strangers. She's my comfort dog, my helper, my comfort when needed. She offers security for my daughter, and acts like the game warden between her d2 brother dogs. Without her there would be an unfillable void..

My family operates on a one income basis, as I cannot hold a job due to an injury sustained in the military. Our emergency funds have already been depleted from the initial exam /xrays. When I thought I was not going to be able to have a child, my Atiya was my first child.

Atiya was diagnosed with hermangiomaseracoma, after consulting with Dr King of Animal Hospital Of Towne Lake,xrays of her leg where she has a very large mass was sent off to the Veterinary referral surgical practice for a consultation. At this time via the consultation it has been determined that Atiya needs to have an ultrasound of her abdomen region followed by a surgery to debulk the mass.

My Atiya is special because she knows how to sense when she is needed, whether it's her being goofy and bringing a stick twice her size or whether she knows I need her to lay with me and catch my tears..
Atiya knows how to do commands via verbal, sign language. She knows when there is work to be done whether that's helping a child or a kitten she is there ever careful, watching and showing love.
