About this campaign

Atlas came from a not so great situation. He had been kept confined in a small crate in a garage for his first 3 months of life. He came to us weighing 13 lbs and very fearful of everything around him.
In the last few months Atlas has truly blossomed. He is friends with every person he meets. He is very much a gentle giant even being a puppy weighing in at 78lbs.

Atlas spends his day lounging around the house and yard with his human and furry siblings. He gets to pick the best spot on the couch and loves to steal and hoard balls.
Atlas’s favorite part of the day is going on a walk around the neighborhood or going to the park to chase balls. He’s very much a cuddle bug and super sweet.

Atlas is such a goober. He regularly tries to snatch papers from around the house to shake to death. He enjoys going to check the mail just in case there is a piece for him to shred.
Atlas loves to dead weight on his favorite humans. He will come up and flop his entire body in your lap for cuddles.

Atlas has dysplasia in both of his front legs. His left leg is significantly worse and the vets recommend that the surgery on this leg be done soon. He will require multiple surgeries and will deal with arthritis for the rest of his life. He has been seen at Veterinary Specialty Hospital in San Diego CA on the recommendation of our primary veterinarian.

This was an unexpected medical expense that we had not planned for especially with such a young dog.
Being able to give Atlas the care he needs to live his best life is vital to our family.
