About this campaign

Atlas found his forever home when he was a year old. He was rescued from a dog fighting ring. He would've died within 24hrs if my friend hadn't rescued him, because he refused to fight. Atlas is one of the most loving dogs I've ever met and hates aggression of any kind. His two favorite things to do in the whole world is cuddle and eat. His tummy rules his world.

We started to suspect Atlas may have a brain tumor when he had a bad seizure and we thought he may have had a stroke as well. After looking up symptoms of a brain tumor we took him in and they did blood work to find his white blood cell count is way off. They told us he needs to see a neurologist and have an MRI done.

He not only is our family but became our protector 5yrs ago when my husband died. If he's not cuddling with one of us he pouts. I joke around saying that he has more emotions than I do, and his feelings can be hurt easily. He loves to play with all of us including his 4yr old sister who's a dutch Shepard. They are the perfect example of unconditional love every day! NEVER any aggression.

I am a single mom who is temporarily unemployed. The MRI he needs is $5,000-$6,000 and just to talk to the specialist cost almost $400. We truly can't imagine a single day without this big, lovable, goofball.
