Augie Doggie is a 8-year-old Mixed Hound in Buckeye Lake, OH, who needs $1,200 for Diagnosis and Treatment.

Found on cold snowy day, dragging a broken chain, 39#, happy when gal stopped to give him a lift, 12/11/18. Since he was found on sleepy Hallow Rd & his eyes were goopy, they called him Sleepy. While at the pound he suffered from clamp & whipworms, went to several Adoption events, where he was loved by many, but they all saw $$ flash before their eyes, knowing he would need medical attention.

Rescued 8/17/19, given a new name, for a new life. Joining 3 rescued cats, receiving medical care for Hookworms, URI, trauma left side of face, eye Infection, heartworms+, fearful of loud noises, sudden hand movements by his head, and nail trims. Treated for all medical, meds for his fears, regular food & treats, now 76#. Has taken a road trip to visit 4 states. No longer medicated for spa days.

He waits at door when I get home, wants to talk about his day by cuddling in bed, making lil nosies to talk to me, he whines if i get out of car when on trips, even if another person is with him, he wants to be with Momma! He tolerates the pesky feline that thinks she is a dog, & wants to cuddle with him. He no longer urinates in every building, he has manners inside, and holds his head high/proud

His prolonged illness sitting in pound 9 months, he has lingering cough, from damage of heartworms.Treated over a yr w low dose prednisone, which caused iotragenic cushings, cured that & have been doing Doxy every few months since, now we are at stage he may need an inhaler.

Since 9/24/22 I've paid $876.72 for his care, also had to have unexpected car repairs, a new fridge and plumbing repairs at home. Care credit & credit cards maxed out. need help to see an internal med vet and possible dog inhaler. Ruff life prior, want him to enjoy life now
