Please help Aura fight her skin infection.

For more than a week, Aura wandered the streets of Jamaica alone.

Terrified of people and desperately trying to survive, this sweet stray was so fearful that no one could get close enough to help her. Day after day, she remained just out of reach, suffering in silence as her skin condition worsened.

Finally, after being spotted for over a week, she wandered into an outdoor storage cabinet. It was the break everyone had been hoping for. Rescuers acted quickly and safely transferred her into a crate, ending her days of running and hiding.

Now she is finally safe.

As we begin the process of triaging her medical needs, we already know she is suffering from severe demodectic mange. Her skin is inflamed, painful, and in desperate need of treatment. We don't have all the answers yet, and we don't have invoices in hand, but we know her road to recovery will require extensive veterinary care, medications, diagnostics, and ongoing support.

For the first time in a long time, she doesn't have to worry about where she'll sleep or whether she'll survive another day. Now it's our turn to help her heal.
