Aurelia, The Golden One, Urgently Needs You

Last week, this precious little dog was found on the side of the road in Cleveland, TX after being hit by a car. She couldn’t walk, but somehow she was still smiling as if she knew help had finally come.

Her story was shared for hours while rescuers hoped someone could step in, but shelters and rescues everywhere are overwhelmed with dogs, medical cases, and limited resources. CAMO is too, but they had to say "Yes".

Thanks to an incredible volunteer, Aurelia was rushed to the emergency vet where X-rays confirmed a fractured spine. While she is thankfully not in pain, she will likely never walk again and will become a cart dog. Despite this, Aurelia remains sweet, happy, and full of life. She is only about 2 years old, covered in fleas, battling a skin infection, and desperately needing care.

CAMO was not financially prepared for another major medical case, but there was no way this little girl could be left behind.
