Aurora is a 9 year old Border Collie in Los Angeles, CA, who needs $2,000 for Cryotherapy, Teeth Cleaning, Biopsy, Mass Removal.

Aurora was found in a field when she was only a few weeks old. We were the first family to see her when she was brought to the shelter and we fell in love instantly. I've had her since she was two months old.

Two months ago, I discovered a bump on her eye. The vet sent us to the ophthalmologist and they want to freeze it off to make sure it doesn't develop into cancer. She also needs dental work due to gingivitis and we discovered a mast on her chest yesterday. We don't know for sure if that needs to be removed, but there needs to be testing to see. We go to Mohawk Alley Animal Hospital

Aurora loves her human friends and spends a lot of time hiking with her dad and cuddling with me. Her favorite toy is a formerly stuffed hippo and she loves doggie spray cheese frozen in her Kong toy. We've had the best nine years together. She has moved across the country with me and been with me through so much: heartbreak, accomplishments, sickness. She can make me laugh just by looking at me

Work has been slow due to renovations. I have also had surgeries, treatments, and appointments constantly for myself this summer. It has been the roughest summer of my life, but Aurora helps me through it. When I say she is my family, I mean it.
