About this campaign
Aurora came into her Veterinary office at 8 weeks old to be euthanized because she has an umbilical hernia. She was surrendered to the veterinary office and I was able to adopt her. She’s had a tough life with leg deformities and learning to control her pain to contracting Leptospirosis 3 years ago despite being vaccinated and had to fight to overcome it.
Aurora recently developed what we were hopeful was an infection but it turns out to be a tumor. Aurora desperately needs sedation to have X-rays done and exploratory surgery and possible toe amputation. We are trying to raise the funds of $1500 so that Aurora can have the treatment she needs done with her vet at Pet Street Station Animal Hospital.
Aurora enjoys hiking, playing with her toys and chewing or chasing sticks. She is very protective of her family and struggles to adapt to anyone she doesn’t know.
My only Christmas wish is to raise money so my girl can get her surgery. I recently have been fighting my own medical issues and recently lost my job because of the medical issues & needing time off for appointments and sick days. Rory has saved me, now I need to save her!
