Autumn is a 4 year old American Shorthair in East Elmhurst, NY, who needs $600 for Hyperthyroidism Treatment and Bloodwork.

We rescued Autumn from the streets. We gave her name due to her coloring and the current seasonal changes. We heard rumors from friends that there was a kitty out there who was in urgent need of care and us already being an owner of five other cats, could ignore a possible cat in need.

We currently have no medical background for her since we got her of the streets. We took her to a local vet and we were informed she may have hyperthyroidism and is extremely underweight. She needs an extensive bloodwork up, possible medications and shots and supplements.

Autumn is gentle soul. Although human haven't given her reasons to trust them, she immediately warmed up to us. She has the deepest meow out of all our cats and isn't afraid to tell them off if they're being overbearing. She likes playing with shoelaces and loves napping in cubbie-like spots.

Due to health issues along with trouble finding stable jobs, our financial situation is to be desired. We live paycheck to paycheck and are already having troubling keeping up with our bills and even rent. The only thing that keeps us in good spirits are our fur babies.
