Avery Anne Evans is a 7-year-old Labrador Retriever in Fort Cobb, OK, who needs $1,000 for Surgery.

In the wee morning hours of May 6, 2016 Avery Anne Evans made her grand entrance into this world in the middle of our bed! We loved this little girl from the moment she announced her arrival with those adorable newborn puppy squeaks. Next to her mama, Remi, she became our pride and joy! Thats been almost 8 years ago now and we love her even more today! Shes also the proud big sis of Genesis (dog)

Avery is the sweetest and most gentle girl you’ll ever meet. She loves pets and scratches! Her favorite activity is playing fetch with a ball, a random stick or her rope. She also enjoys lazing around on the porch soaking up the sun! Avery is very much a mama’s girl and sleeps in bed with us! She’s very protective of her people, especially mom and the kids. She loves nothing more than to snuggle!

Avery has a personality bigger than her! She’s also incredibly smart! One of the things she does that makes us laugh, is that she will sit up on the couch like a human and lean her head back as far as she can looking at us with eyes wide as saucers! We know she’s judging us when she does it but it’s so funny! Shes very quick to pick up on new tricks and instructions. Shes just all around the best

We recently discovered a large hard mass on Avery’s mammary chain. After losing her mom, Remi, to breast cancer at the beginning of the year, we're pretty sure we know the diagnosis we’re looking at with Avery. However, we’re hopeful we caught this sooner with Avery than we did Remi. Avery will be treated at Southwestern Veterinary Clinic in Elgin, OK.
Her appt and treatment plan are pending.

Because we are a one income household of 5 plus 2 furbabies on a limited income, you can imagine the financial strain we are now facing as we seek treatment for our girl. Our options without help from our family and friends are simply nonexistent.
