About this campaign
Axel was found on the side of the road near Gettysburg Pa. He was a tiny thing covered in lice and had to be quarantined for almost a month. Now he is the youngest of 4 older brothers.
Axel was brought to his regular vet for peeing outside the litter box. They explained it was due to him not being neutered yet. He was neutered the following week with a clean urinalysis/bloodwork test. 2 days after bringing him home he wasn’t acting right and the vet wasn’t concerned with my update. Later that week he completely blocked and had to have emergency surgery.
I am unable to have children so my 5 cats are my life. They help me through my depression and mental health issues and are a constant reminder that there is true unconditional love in this world.
I am not working due to health issues and my partner has to cover all expenses on 1 income. We also have to keep Axel on a prescription food and it is expensive. The vet visits cost over $3000. We will do everything we can do to keep our baby healthy and happy.
